Helping Hand: First-Time Buyers and the Bank of Mum and Dad Featured in The Telegraph

It’s no secret that more and more parents are stepping in to help their children get on the property ladder - dubbed 'The Bank of Mum & Dad' - and I’m delighted to have secured national coverage in The Telegraph exploring this very trend.
The piece features expert insight from my client Lili Oliver, a brilliant buying agent based in Bristol, who shares her first-hand experience of working with first-time buyers receiving financial support from their parents. In fact, all three of Lili’s most recent purchases involved some level of family assistance - underlining just how common this has become in today’s market.
Supporting the story is a standout case study from The HiLight development in Battersea, by developer Ghelamco - where a buyer who received parental help features as the lead image and case study. This inclusion was part of my ongoing consultancy work with Bridging London.
Not only has this been a fantastic awareness piece, but it’s already driven tangible results, leading to several new enquiries for the sales agents at The HiLight. 💥
